Jack Durieux, nato nel 1970 a Waterloo, Belgio, si è laureato in comunicazione grafica e serigrafia nel 1995. Da allora lavora come grafico e illustratore. È specializzato in tipografia e corporate design, oltre a progettare innumerevoli opere d’arte per diverse case editrici, etichette discografiche e distributori di film. Dal 1998 insegna, con il fratello Laurent, grafica e illustrazione al College of Architecture and Design di Bruxelles. Oltre al suo lavoro di graphic designer e illustratore, Jack ha co-fondato nel 2014, insieme a due dei suoi fratelli, Nautilus Art Prints, una società editoriale di alternative movie poster.
Jack Durieux, born in 1970 in Waterloo, Belgium, graduated in Graphic communication and screen printing in 1995. Since then, he has been working as graphic designer and illustrator. He specializes in typography and corporate design as well as designing countless artworks for several publishing companies, record labels and film distributors. Since 1998, he teaches, with his brother Laurent, graphic design and illustration at the College of Architecture and Design in Brussels. In addition to his work as a graphic designer and illustrator, Jack has co-founded in 2014, along with two of his brothers, Nautilus Art Prints, an alternative movie posters publishing company.
La storia di Micheal inizia nel sud della California dove è cresciuto tra cartoni animati, fumetti, libri, giochi, film, televisione e cultura pop. Ha iniziato a disegnare in tenera età, influenzato dai suddetti media, e alla fine ha seguito un’educazione artistica. Da allora ha appreso le competenze tradizionali e le ha tradotte nel mondo digitale dove svolge la maggior parte del suo lavoro. Oltre all’illustrazione, ha due decenni di esperienza nella tipografia commerciale. Collabora con Netflix, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Focus Features, Monty Python, The Los Angeles Public Library.
Michael’s story begins in Southern California where he grew up with cartoons, comics, books, games, movies, television and pop culture. He started drawing at an early age, influenced by the above media, and eventually followed an artistic education. Since then he has learned traditional skills and translated them into the digital world where he does most of his work. In addition to his work as an illustrator, he has two decades of experience in commercial printing. Works with Netflix, Nickelodeon Animation Studios, Focus Features, Monty Python, The Los Angeles Public Library.
