Dopo aver lavorato come illustratore a tempo pieno dal 2004 al 2015, ha spostato l’attenzione su lavori più personali utilizzando oli o acquerelli. Come ritrattista/pittore figurativo, Nick lavora sia dal vivo che con la fotografia, descrivendo la sua arte come qualcosa di vicino al “realismo astratto”, con l’obiettivo di esprimere il più possibile l’elemento umano, dando un’illusione di realismo e, allo stesso tempo, scomponendo le forme per ottenere un risultato parzialmente astratto.

Born in 1985, artist Nick Runge grew up in Colorado. Coming from a creative family of professional artists, he was always interested in drawing and imagining ideas visually. After working as an illustrator full time from 2004-2015 he shifted focus to more personal work using oils or watercolor. As a portrait/figurative painter, Nick works from life as well as photography, describing his art as something close to “abstracted realism”, with an objective of expressing as much of the realistic human element of life as possible through a limited and often simplified approach to his rendering or brushwork, giving an illusion of realism while, at the same time, breaking shapes and form down enough to have a close balance with abstraction.

ZEB LOVE

Zeb Love è un illustratore e stampatore della zona di Pittsburgh. Ha iniziato a disegnare nel 2008 realizzando merchandising e layout di dischi per band locali. Zeb Love is a Pittsburgh-area illustrator and print maker. He started designing in 2008 by making merchandise and record layouts for local bands. In 2010 he taught himself the basics of screen printing and made a series of art prints. Ale Giorgini, riconosciuto artista e illustratore internazionale,  lavora per diversi brand, editori e agenzie in settori quali pubblicità, interni, intrattenimento, libri e fumetti. Docente di illustrazione presso IED (Torino), Scuola Internazionale di Comics (Padova), Bauer (Milano) e IDEA Academy (Roma). Nel 2017 ha fondato l’agenzia Magnifico Illustrators.

Ale Giorgini, internationally well-know artist and illustratore, he works for several brands, publisher and agencies in areas such as advertising, interiors, entertainment, books and comics. He’s been illustration teacher at IED (Turin), Scuola Internazionale di Comics (Padua), Bauer (Milan) and IDEA Academy (Rome). In 2017 he’s founded Magnifico Illustrators Agency.

STELLA YGRIS

Stella è un’illustratrice, artista e gamer (ex-sviluppatrice di videogiochi) spagnola. Si ispira a film e spettacoli televisivi: i suoi disegni a mano mirano a catturare l’estetica visiva e l’umore del personaggio, sottolineando le atmosfere drammatiche, thriller o horror che li avvolgono.

Stella is a Spanish illustrator, artist and gamer (former video game developer). Inspired by movies and TV shows: his hand drawings aim to capture the visual aesthetic and mood of the character, emphasizing the dramatic, thriller or horror atmospheres that surround them.

 

NICOLE GUSTAFSSON

Nicole Gustafsson è la creatrice di Nimasprout. Lavora come illustratrice a tempo pieno, specializzata in dipinti multimediali tradizionali che presentano di tutto, dai personaggi e ambienti dei boschi, alla cultura pop. Nicole è cresciuta a Norfolk, nel Nebraska. Il suo interesse per la fauna selvatica e gli alberi è diventato una passione e continua a essere un tema nelle sue opere d’arte.

Nicole Gustafsson is the creator of Nimasprout. She works as a full-time illustrator, specializing in traditional multimedia paintings that feature everything from characters and woodland environments to pop culture. Nicole’s artwork is available in selected galleries. Her interest in wildlife and trees has become a passion and continues to be a theme in his artwork.

Max Dalton is an illustrator, painter, musician and writer. He often designs for posters, books, magazines, newspapers, advertisements and products. He has participated in many group and solo shows in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Seoul and elsewhere. His work has appeared in magazines such as The New Yorker, Monocle and O, The Oprah Magazine.

CHRIS MCGUIRE

Chris, che si è laureato in Illustrazione alla California State University Long Beach, è un artista e illustratore a Huntington Beach, California. Ha esposto in diverse gallerie tra cui La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Galleria Nucleus, e Rod Briggs Gallery. É interessato ad esplorare la relazione precaria che gli esseri umani hanno con la natura. Manipolando la scala di grandezza dei personaggi nelle suo opere, Chris sottolinea la vulnerabilità dell’uomo. Esplora queste idee tramite la pittura ad olio, acrilica e digitale.

Chris, who received his B.F.A. in Illustration from CSULB, is an artist and illustrator in Huntington Beach, California. He has exhibited in several galleries including Gallery1988, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Gallery Nucleus, and Rod Briggs Gallery. He is interested in exploring the precarious relationship humans have with nature. By manipulating the scale of the characters in my pieces, he emphasizes the contrast between our perception of that relationship and our actual vulnerability within the larger world. He explores these ideas with oil, acrylic, graphite, and digital painting

STEPHEN ANDRADE

Stephen ha studiato alla Hartford Art School. Oltre ad essere un affermato direttore creativo nel settore pubblicitario, è noto per aver dato vita a film e programmi televisivi sotto forma di copertine di riviste pulp in stile vintage. Trae ispirazione dalle vecchie copertine tascabili, che considera un tesoro di immagini fantastiche.

Stephen studied at Hartford Art School. In addition to being an accomplished creative director in the advertising industry, he is known for bringing movies and television shows to life as vintage pulp magazine covers. He draws inspiration from old paperback covers, which he considers a treasure trove of fantastic imagery and stunning design.

CHRIS BRAKE

Prima di passare al cinema, Chris ha lavorato come illustratore, esponendo spesso nelle rinomate gallerie d’arte della cultura pop di Los Angeles “Hero Complex Gallery” e “Gallery 1988”, producendo opere d’arte ufficiali per 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante e Roger Corman. Successivamente ha lavorato come assistente del dipartimento artistico per clienti come Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix e Jamie T. Il suo primo cortometraggio “Nest” è stato semifinalista al “Berlin Student Film Festival”, dove è stato nominato per il Premio della Giuria. 

Before moving on to film, Chris worked as an illustrator, often exhibiting in the renowned Los Angeles pop culture art galleries “Hero Complex Gallery” and “Gallery 1988”, producing official artwork for 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante and Roger Corman. He later worked as an assistant in the art department for clients such as Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix and Jamie T. His first short film “Nest” was a semifinalist at the “Berlin Student Film Festival”, where he was nominated for the Jury Prize.

STEPHEN LUROS HOLLIDAY

Da ragazzo Steven era un fan dei fumetti. Ha iniziato prendendo lezioni di illustrazione del fumetto presso la Heron Art School di Indianapolis. Fu solo al college presso la School Of The Art Institute di Chicago che scoprì il suo amore per la serigrafia. Ha disegnato di tutto, dalla fan art, alle stampe dei film con licenza ufficiale, ai poster per i concerti.  Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in diverse mostre collettive dedicate a vari temi cinematografici.

As a boy Steven was a fan of comics. He started by taking comic illustration classes at the Heron Art School in Indianapolis. It was only in college at the School Of The Art Institute in Chicago that he discovered his love for screen printing. He’s drawn everything from fan art, to prints of officially licensed films, to concert posters. His work has been exhibited in several collective exhibitions dedicated to various film topics.

Nan Lawson è un’artista e illustratrice con sede a Los Angeles. Si è laureata in regia cinematografica alla Syracuse University, ma dopo la laurea ha perseguito la sua passione per l’illustrazione. Ora ha unito il suo amore per il cinema e l’arte per dedicarsi alla cultura pop e alla locandina.
