CHET PHILLIPS

Chet Phillips ha iniziato la sua carriera come illustratore freelance nei primi anni ’80. Ha creato lavori per agenzie pubblicitarie, studi di design, editori di libri, giornali e riviste e aziende. Formatosi nei media tradizionali con una laurea in Belle Arti, Chet è passato ai media digitali nel 1992. Vive ad Austin, in Texas, con la moglie Julie.

Chet Phillips began his career as a freelance illustrator in the early 1980s. He has created work for advertising agencies, design studios, book publishers, newspapers and magazines, and corporations. Trained in traditional media with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Chet transitioned to digital media in 1992. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Julie.

NATE MOON LIFE

Nate Gonzalez/NateMoonLife è nato a Baltimora, cresciuto a L.A., ora artista grafico e proprietario/creativo presso The Moon Life Clothing e Orange Sunshine Cult. Un mago della grafica digitale, si ispira all’arte psichedelica, al design e alla pop art, fino ai poster cinematografici, per creare uno stile che riflette un’estetica retrò in un modo nuovo.

Nate Gonzalez/NateMoonLife was born in Baltimore, grew up in L.A., now a graphic artist and owner/creative at The Moon Life Clothing and Orange Sunshine Cult. A wizard of digital graphics, he is inspired by psychedelic art, design and pop art, up to movie posters, to create a style that reflects a retro aesthetic in a new way.

NICK RUNGE

Nato nel 1985, Nick Runge è cresciuto in Colorado. Proveniente da una famiglia di artisti, è sempre stato interessato a materializzare le proprie idee su carta. Dopo aver lavorato come illustratore a tempo pieno dal 2004 al 2015, ha spostato l’attenzione su lavori più personali utilizzando oli o acquerelli. Come ritrattista/pittore figurativo, Nick lavora sia dal vivo che con la fotografia, descrivendo la sua arte come qualcosa di vicino al “realismo astratto”, con l’obiettivo di esprimere il più possibile l’elemento umano, dando un’illusione di realismo e, allo stesso tempo, scomponendo le forme per ottenere un risultato parzialmente astratto.

Born in 1985, artist Nick Runge grew up in Colorado. Coming from a creative family of professional artists, he was always interested in drawing and imagining ideas visually. After working as an illustrator full time from 2004-2015 he shifted focus to more personal work using oils or watercolor. As a portrait/figurative painter, Nick works from life as well as photography, describing his art as something close to “abstracted realism”, with an objective of expressing as much of the realistic human element of life as possible through a limited and often simplified approach to his rendering or brushwork, giving an illusion of realism while, at the same time, breaking shapes and form down enough to have a close balance with abstraction.

STELLA YGRIS

Stella è un’illustratrice, artista e gamer (ex-sviluppatrice di videogiochi) spagnola. Si ispira a film e spettacoli televisivi: i suoi disegni a mano mirano a catturare l’estetica visiva e l’umore del personaggio, sottolineando le atmosfere drammatiche, thriller o horror che li avvolgono.

Stella is a Spanish illustrator, artist and gamer (former video game developer). Inspired by movies and TV shows: his hand drawings aim to capture the visual aesthetic and mood of the character, emphasizing the dramatic, thriller or horror atmospheres that surround them.

 

CHRIS MCGUIRE

Chris, che si è laureato in Illustrazione alla California State University Long Beach, è un artista e illustratore a Huntington Beach, California. Chris, who received his B.F.A. in Illustration from CSULB, is an artist and illustrator in Huntington Beach, California. He has exhibited in several galleries including Gallery1988, La Luz De Jesus Gallery, Gallery Nucleus, and Rod Briggs Gallery. He is interested in exploring the precarious relationship humans have with nature. By manipulating the scale of the characters in my pieces, he emphasizes the contrast between our perception of that relationship and our actual vulnerability within the larger world. He explores these ideas with oil, acrylic, graphite, and digital painting

Jerome is an artist and illustrator based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His passion has always been horror cinema, which revisits with graphic works inspired by vintage comics: a frighteningly appropriate combination.

Graham è un illustratore pluripremiato con sede a Dublino, Irlanda. Graham is an award winning illustrator based in Dublin, Ireland. Prima di passare al cinema, Chris ha lavorato come illustratore, esponendo spesso nelle rinomate gallerie d’arte della cultura pop di Los Angeles “Hero Complex Gallery” e “Gallery 1988”, producendo opere d’arte ufficiali per 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante e Roger Corman. Successivamente ha lavorato come assistente del dipartimento artistico per clienti come Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix e Jamie T. Il suo primo cortometraggio “Nest” è stato semifinalista al “Berlin Student Film Festival”, dove è stato nominato per il Premio della Giuria. 

Before moving on to film, Chris worked as an illustrator, often exhibiting in the renowned Los Angeles pop culture art galleries “Hero Complex Gallery” and “Gallery 1988”, producing official artwork for 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante and Roger Corman. He later worked as an assistant in the art department for clients such as Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix and Jamie T. His first short film “Nest” was a semifinalist at the “Berlin Student Film Festival”, where he was nominated for the Jury Prize.

STEPHEN LUROS HOLLIDAY

Da ragazzo Steven era un fan dei fumetti. Ha iniziato prendendo lezioni di illustrazione del fumetto presso la Heron Art School di Indianapolis. Fu solo al college presso la School Of The Art Institute di Chicago che scoprì il suo amore per la serigrafia. Ha disegnato di tutto, dalla fan art, alle stampe dei film con licenza ufficiale, ai poster per i concerti.  Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in diverse mostre collettive dedicate a vari temi cinematografici.

As a boy Steven was a fan of comics. He started by taking comic illustration classes at the Heron Art School in Indianapolis. It was only in college at the School Of The Art Institute in Chicago that he discovered his love for screen printing. He’s drawn everything from fan art, to prints of officially licensed films, to concert posters. His work has been exhibited in several collective exhibitions dedicated to various film topics.

Nan Lawson è un’artista e illustratrice con sede a Los Angeles. Si è laureata in regia cinematografica alla Syracuse University, ma dopo la laurea ha perseguito la sua passione per l’illustrazione. Ora ha unito il suo amore per il cinema e l’arte per dedicarsi alla cultura pop e alla locandina. Lavora nell’editoria e nell’industria dell’intrattenimento; crea libri illustrati e copertine di libri, oltre a opere d’arte e manifesti per film e televisione.
