Max Dalton is an illustrator, painter, musician and writer. He often designs for posters, books, magazines, newspapers, advertisements and products. He has participated in many group and solo shows in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Paris, Seoul and elsewhere. His work has appeared in magazines such as The New Yorker, Monocle and O, The Oprah Magazine.
Illustratore e designer di Londra con sede a Los Angeles con la passione per il disegno e in particolare per le architetture della Mecca del Cinema per eccellenza, Los Angeles. Essendo un artista londinese la prospettiva unica di Geroge su Los Angeles gli permette di apportare una visione fresca ed estranea alle solite illustrazioni. Adora la Hollywood degli anni d’oro e dai film di quel periodo, che guardava fin da piccolo, trae molta della sua ispirazione. Realizza lavori grafici che hanno come tema principale le architetture e il loro rapporto con la città, dalle atmosfere colorate e goiose. Lo stile geometrico dona alle tavole una resa minimale, fatta di angoli, simmetrie e prospettive che ricordano i fotogrammi di un film degli anni ’60, contaminati da citazionismi espliciti a Wes Anderson. Tra le costruzioni possiamo riconoscere la Hollyhock House e la John Sowden House di Frank Lloyd Wright, la Stahl House di Pierre Koeing e altre.
George Townley is a London-based illustrator with a passion for all things American. Being a London-based artist, Geroge’s unique perspective on Los Angeles allows him to bring a fresh and foreign vision to the usual illustrations. He adores the Hollywood of the golden years and draws much of his inspiration from the films of that period, which he watched from an early age.
Prima di passare al cinema, Chris ha lavorato come illustratore, esponendo spesso nelle rinomate gallerie d’arte della cultura pop di Los Angeles “Hero Complex Gallery” e “Gallery 1988”, producendo opere d’arte ufficiali per 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante e Roger Corman. As a boy Steven was a fan of comics. He started by taking comic illustration classes at the Heron Art School in Indianapolis. It was only in college at the School Of The Art Institute in Chicago that he discovered his love for screen printing. He’s drawn everything from fan art, to prints of officially licensed films, to concert posters. His work has been exhibited in several collective exhibitions dedicated to various film topics.
