NICK RUNGE

Nato nel 1985, Nick Runge è cresciuto in Colorado. Proveniente da una famiglia di artisti, è sempre stato interessato a materializzare le proprie idee su carta. Dopo aver lavorato come illustratore a tempo pieno dal 2004 al 2015, ha spostato l’attenzione su lavori più personali utilizzando oli o acquerelli. Come ritrattista/pittore figurativo, Nick lavora sia dal vivo che con la fotografia, descrivendo la sua arte come qualcosa di vicino al “realismo astratto”, con l’obiettivo di esprimere il più possibile l’elemento umano, dando un’illusione di realismo e, allo stesso tempo, scomponendo le forme per ottenere un risultato parzialmente astratto.

Born in 1985, artist Nick Runge grew up in Colorado. Coming from a creative family of professional artists, he was always interested in drawing and imagining ideas visually. After working as an illustrator full time from 2004-2015 he shifted focus to more personal work using oils or watercolor. As a portrait/figurative painter, Nick works from life as well as photography, describing his art as something close to “abstracted realism”, with an objective of expressing as much of the realistic human element of life as possible through a limited and often simplified approach to his rendering or brushwork, giving an illusion of realism while, at the same time, breaking shapes and form down enough to have a close balance with abstraction.

NATE MOON LIFE

Nate Gonzalez/NateMoonLife è nato a Baltimora, cresciuto a L.A., ora artista grafico e proprietario/creativo presso The Moon Life Clothing e Orange Sunshine Cult. Un mago della grafica digitale, si ispira all’arte psichedelica, al design e alla pop art, fino ai poster cinematografici, per creare uno stile che riflette un’estetica retrò in un modo nuovo.

Nate Gonzalez/NateMoonLife was born in Baltimore, grew up in L.A., now a graphic artist and owner/creative at The Moon Life Clothing and Orange Sunshine Cult. A wizard of digital graphics, he is inspired by psychedelic art, design and pop art, up to movie posters, to create a style that reflects a retro aesthetic in a new way.

ZEB LOVE

Zeb Love è un illustratore e stampatore della zona di Pittsburgh. Ha iniziato a disegnare nel 2008 realizzando merchandising e layout di dischi per band locali. Nel 2010 si è insegnato le basi della serigrafia e ha realizzato una serie di stampe artistiche. I suoi clienti includono: Dead & Company, Avett Brothers, The Black Keys, Eddie Vedder, Blink-182, Primus, Pittsburgh Penguins, Linkin Park.

Zeb Love is a Pittsburgh-area illustrator and print maker. He started designing in 2008 by making merchandise and record layouts for local bands. In 2010 he taught himself the basics of screen printing and made a series of art prints. SCOTT SASLOW

Graphic designer californiano, specializzato in alternative movie poster, progetti per scenografie teatrali, packaging per home-video e oggetti  da collezione ispirati a fenomeni di cultura pop. Tra le suo collaborazioni: Arrow Video, Kino Lorber, Fun City Editions, Carlotta Films,  Leroy & Rose.

ALE GIORGINI

Ale Giorgini, riconosciuto artista e illustratore internazionale,  lavora per diversi brand, editori e agenzie in settori quali pubblicità, interni, intrattenimento, libri e fumetti. Docente di illustrazione presso IED (Torino), Scuola Internazionale di Comics (Padova), Bauer (Milano) e IDEA Academy (Roma). Nel 2017 ha fondato l’agenzia Magnifico Illustrators.

Ale Giorgini, internationally well-know artist and illustratore, he works for several brands, publisher and agencies in areas such as advertising, interiors, entertainment, books and comics. He’s been illustration teacher at IED (Turin), Scuola Internazionale di Comics (Padua), Bauer (Milan) and IDEA Academy (Rome). In 2017 he’s founded Magnifico Illustrators Agency.

RICH DAVIES

Originario del Galles, Richard è da sempre stato attratto ed ispirato dalla locandina cinematografica e dal manifesto pubblicitario. Negli ultimi anni Richard ha gradualmente costruito un’impressionante base di clienti, da grandi studi cinematografici come Disney, Warner Brothers e Sony a marchi di fama mondiale come Coca Cola ed editori come Rolling Stone, Conde Nast, Insight Editions e Bloomsbury Publishing .Il suo lavoro commerciale lo ha portato anche ad esporre in varie gallerie di cultura pop a Los Angeles, New York, Marsiglia, Londra e Zurigo, oltre ad essere presente in varie pubblicazioni di design e cultura pop in tutto il mondo.​​​​​​​

Originally from Wales, Richard has always been attracted and inspired by the film poster and the advertising poster. Over the past few years, Richard has gradually built up an impressive customer base, from major film studios like Disney, Warner Brothers and Sony to world-renowned brands like Coca Cola and publishers like Rolling Stone, Conde Nast, Insight Editions and Bloomsbury Publishing. His commercial work has also led him to exhibit in various galleries in Los Angeles, New York, Marseille, London and Zurich, as well as being present in design and pop culture publications around the world.

STELLA YGRIS

Stella è un’illustratrice, artista e gamer (ex-sviluppatrice di videogiochi) spagnola. Si ispira a film e spettacoli televisivi: i suoi disegni a mano mirano a catturare l’estetica visiva e l’umore del personaggio, sottolineando le atmosfere drammatiche, thriller o horror che li avvolgono.

Stella is a Spanish illustrator, artist and gamer (former video game developer). Inspired by movies and TV shows: his hand drawings aim to capture the visual aesthetic and mood of the character, emphasizing the dramatic, thriller or horror atmospheres that surround them.

 

CHRIS BRAKE

Prima di passare al cinema, Chris ha lavorato come illustratore, esponendo spesso nelle rinomate gallerie d’arte della cultura pop di Los Angeles “Hero Complex Gallery” e “Gallery 1988”, producendo opere d’arte ufficiali per 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante e Roger Corman. Successivamente ha lavorato come assistente del dipartimento artistico per clienti come Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix e Jamie T. Il suo primo cortometraggio “Nest” è stato semifinalista al “Berlin Student Film Festival”, dove è stato nominato per il Premio della Giuria.

STEPHEN LUROS HOLLIDAY

Da ragazzo Steven era un fan dei fumetti. Ha iniziato prendendo lezioni di illustrazione del fumetto presso la Heron Art School di Indianapolis. Fu solo al college presso la School Of The Art Institute di Chicago che scoprì il suo amore per la serigrafia. Ha disegnato di tutto, dalla fan art, alle stampe dei film con licenza ufficiale, ai poster per i concerti.  Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in diverse mostre collettive dedicate a vari temi cinematografici.

As a boy Steven was a fan of comics. He started by taking comic illustration classes at the Heron Art School in Indianapolis. It was only in college at the School Of The Art Institute in Chicago that he discovered his love for screen printing. He’s drawn everything from fan art, to prints of officially licensed films, to concert posters. His work has been exhibited in several collective exhibitions dedicated to various film topics. 

MAX DALTON

Max Dalton, illustratore, pittore e musicista e scrittore occasionale. Crea spesso illustrazioni per poster, libri, riviste, giornali, pubblicità e prodotti.Ha partecipato a molte mostre collettive e personali a New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Arizona, Parigi, Seoul e altro ancora. Olivier Courbet è un creativo multidisciplinare francese con sede a Los Angeles, California. Olivier Courbet is a multidisciplinary French creative artist based in Los Angeles, California. LAN LAWSON

Nan Lawson è un’artista e illustratrice con sede a Los Angeles. Si è laureata in regia cinematografica alla Syracuse University, ma dopo la laurea ha perseguito la sua passione per l’illustrazione. Ora ha unito il suo amore per il cinema e l’arte per dedicarsi alla cultura pop e alla locandina. Lavora nell’editoria e nell’industria dell’intrattenimento; crea libri illustrati e copertine di libri, oltre a opere d’arte e manifesti per film e televisione.
