After the resounding success of its Milanese stop at the Cinema Anteo, the exhibition “Maestri & Cult, Cinema in the Visual Imagination” is enlarged the Soggettiva Gallery (Via Sottocorno 5/A, Milan), with a new, expanded and enriched edition that expands its visions, languages, and suggestions.
“Maestri & Cult… Autori e Capolavori” is a tribute to the directors who have made the history of cinema – from Fellini to Kubrick, from Hitchcock to Coppola, from Scorsese to Lynch, from Tarantino to Wes Anderson, from Bergman to Tarkovsky, from Truffaut to Kurosawa, up to Cronenberg, Ridley Scott, Nolan, Almodóvar, Villeneuve, Fincher, Bong Joon-ho, Greta Gerwig, Jane Campion and many others.

The exhibiting artists take up the legacy of the great masters of film poster art—Saul Bass, Drew Struzan, Renato Casaro, Enzo Sciotti—reinterpreting it with contemporary sensibility and the freedom of those who engage with myth through the lens of art.
