Teo Zirinis wanted to become an oceanographer like Jacques Cousteau. Illustration was just a hobby, while he studied archeology and worked as a tennis instructor. Then the self-taught passion grew, turning into a real job. The visual gags of the illustrator, originally from Athens, have a simple style. The themes he addresses are linked to everyday life and are personified by objects and characters that are part of the common imagination

Guillame è un artista francese con sede a Parigi. È un grande appassionato di film e videogiochi. La sua produzione artistica consiste in stampe serigrafiche e poster di ogni genere. Numerose gallerie internazionali hanno esposto il suo lavoro nel corso degli anni.
 
Guillame is a French artist based in Paris. He’s passionate about films and videogames. His artistic output consist of silk-screen prints and poster of every kind. Numerous key galleries and museums have featured his work in the past.
 
 
HOUSEBEAR

Housebear Design è un piccolo studio nel nord-ovest dell’Arkansas, di proprietà e gestito da Justin Froning. Justin Froning lavora attualmente come direttore creativo ed esecutivo. Ama la narrazione ed è una sua passion raccontare storie attraverso mezzi visivi, che si tratti di illustrazione, direzione artistica, packaging del prodotto, copywriting, pubblicità o sviluppo del marchio. Housebear Design è riconosciuto a livello internazionale, ha pubblicato lavori in numerose pubblicazioni e ha svolto un ruolo chiave in numerose start-up.

Housebear Design is a small studio in northwest Arkansas, owned and operated by Justin Froning. Justin Froning currently works as creative and executive director. He loves storytelling and it’s his passion to tell stories through visual media, whether it’s illustration, art direction, product packaging, copywriting, advertising or brand development. Housebear Design is internationally recognized, has published work in numerous publications, and has played a key role in many start-ups.

JORDAN BOLTON

L’artista di Manchester Jordan Bolton realizza stravaganti still life ispirati a film classici e contemporanei. Per la serie “Objects”, Bolton ha reinventato le locandine cinematografiche di pellicole di successo catturandone l’essenza solo attraverso la palette di colori e gli oggetti di scena, accuratamente disposti in piccole composizioni. Pur presentando alcuni aspetti di semplicità, ciascuna fotografia necessita di un lungo lavoro di ricerca. L’artista studia con attenzione ogni film, guardandolo per decine di volte e soffermandosi su tutti i fotogrammi, quindi compila una lista di oltre cento oggetti tra i quali selezionerà quelli più significativi per evocarne la trama e i personaggi. Il resto è cinema.

Manchester artist Jordan Bolton creates whimsical still lives inspired by classic and contemporary films. For the “Objects” series, Bolton reinvented the movie posters of successful films, capturing their essence only through the color palette and props, carefully arranged in small compositions. While presenting some aspects of simplicity, each photograph requires extensive research. The artist carefully studies each film, watching it dozens of times and focusing on all the frames, then compiles a list of over one hundred objects from which he will select the most significant ones to evoke the plot and characters. The rest is cinema.

MATTHEW RABALAIS

Matthew Rabalais è un pittore/illustratore di Baton Rouge, LA. Sebbene il suo background sia nella pittura a olio tradizionale, oggigiorno lavora principalmente con i mezzi digitali. È un fanatico dell’arte e del cinema da sempre. Ha frequentato la Louisiana State University dove ha conseguito il BFA in Graphic Design.

Matthew Rabalais is a painter/illustrator from Baton Rouge, LA. Although his background is in traditional oil painting, today he mainly works with digital media. He has always been an art and film fanatic. He attended Louisiana State University where he earned his BFA in Graphic Design.

LE NEVRALGIE COSTANTI

Le Nevralgie Costanti (Mirko Rossi) nasce il 28 febbraio 1978. Vive e lavora in Italia. Le sue figure sono alla ricerca di una nuova forma del corpo, un’idea di bellezza, fragile e non convenzionale. Corpi post-umani, in un’unica alchimia di luci e ombre, inquietudine e serenità. Non esiste una forma definitiva del sé, ma è un continuo cambiamento di forme, organi e parti artificiali  dove il corpo diventa luogo di malattia, paura, seduzione e mistero, ma anche nascita di una nuova vita. Ha esposto in varie città italiane: Bologna, Modena, Torino, Verona, Mantova, e a Berlino, Rotterdam, Bruxelles e Parigi. Nel 2015 ha iniziato a collaborare con Blu Gallery di Bologna, poi Modo Infoshop sempre di Bologna, Neurotitan di Berlino e altre collaborazioni con vari shop gallery. Realizza copertine per band, poster e magliette.

Le Nevralgie Costante (Mirko Rossi) was born on 28 February 1978. He lives and works in Italy. His figures are looking for a new body shape, an idea of beauty, fragile and unconventional. Post-human bodies, in a single alchemy of lights and shadows, restlessness and serenity. There is no definitive form of the self, but it is a continuous change of forms, organs and artificial parts where the body becomes a place of disease, fear, seduction and mystery, but also the birth of a new life. He has exhibited in various Italian cities: Bologna, Modena, Turin, Verona, Mantua, and in Berlin, Rotterdam, Brussels and Paris. In 2015 he started collaborating with Blu Gallery in Bologna, then Modo Infoshop in Bologna, Neurotitan in Berlin and others.

RAPHAEL KELLY

Raphael Kelly è un illustratore e designer di Portland che lavora prevalentemente su soggetti cinematografici e illustrazioni di stampe d’arte oltre a dipinti ad o ad acquerello.

Raphael Kelly is a Portland, or based illustrator and designer who focuses on screen-print ready illustrations in addition to watercolor paintings. 

HAIG DEMARJIAN

Haig Demarjian si è formato principalmente come incisore, ha conseguito la laurea presso il Middlebury College e ha conseguito sia un MA che un MFA presso l’Università del Wisconsin-Madison. Dipinge, incide e disegna incessantemente da oltre 25 anni, le sue opere d’arte sono state esposte a livello internazionale e abbracciano un’ampia gamma di media, dallA pittura classica all’illustrazione commerciale fino agli Alternative Movie Poster.

Haig Demarjian trained primarily as an engraver, received his BA from Middlebury College, and holds both an MA and MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been painting, etching and drawing incessantly for over 25 years, his artwork has been exhibited internationally and spans a wide range of media from fine art to commercial illustration to cinematic film.

RUCKING FOTTEN

Note per i disegni iper-colorati e per le calligrafie orientali con cui celebrano i film classici con cui siamo cresciuti, le creazioni di Rucking Fotten sono un vero e proprio culto, anche per il brevissimo periodo di tempo in cui cui sono rese disponibili online. CHRIS BRAKE

Prima di passare al cinema, Chris ha lavorato come illustratore, esponendo spesso nelle rinomate gallerie d’arte della cultura pop di Los Angeles “Hero Complex Gallery” e “Gallery 1988”, producendo opere d’arte ufficiali per 20th Century Fox, Joss Whedon, Joe Dante e Roger Corman. Successivamente ha lavorato come assistente del dipartimento artistico per clienti come Virgin Media, Now TV, Little Mix e Jamie T. Il suo primo cortometraggio “Nest” è stato semifinalista al “Berlin Student Film Festival”, dove è stato nominato per il Premio della Giuria.

STEPHEN LUROS HOLLIDAY

Da ragazzo Steven era un fan dei fumetti. Ha iniziato prendendo lezioni di illustrazione del fumetto presso la Heron Art School di Indianapolis. Fu solo al college presso la School Of The Art Institute di Chicago che scoprì il suo amore per la serigrafia. Ha disegnato di tutto, dalla fan art, alle stampe dei film con licenza ufficiale, ai poster per i concerti.  Il suo lavoro è stato esposto in diverse mostre collettive dedicate a vari temi cinematografici.

As a boy Steven was a fan of comics. He started by taking comic illustration classes at the Heron Art School in Indianapolis. It was only in college at the School Of The Art Institute in Chicago that he discovered his love for screen printing. He’s drawn everything from fan art, to prints of officially licensed films, to concert posters. His work has been exhibited in several collective exhibitions dedicated to various film topics.
