Malleus is an Italian collective that deals with all types of visual art, from illustration to videos. The iconography at the base of their work originates from a vast panorama that includes the figurative arts, in particular Expressionism and Symbolism, Art Nouveau and Surrealism, Pop Art and Psychedelia, but also comics, photography, cinema and literature. At the end of 2002, the trio of Malleus, printing their first handmade screen printing, takes the decisive step towards a path that will make them enter the scene of today’s Poster Art.
